Meg's Honeyeater

'Welcome to Meg's Garden ~ a collection of woodblocks & textiles created as a tribute to my lovely Mum Meg and the plants & birds she cherished in her garden in the bush at Sandstone in W.A.

Mum had plenty of feathered visitors to her garden and loved to spot new arrivals. The mix would gather in the native Mulga trees and swoop down to her veggie patch, hang in the fruit trees, have a drink from the pool or a swish in the bird bath. Honeyeaters of different varieties would often join the bird party to escape the bush heat. x"
